Why Heroes of Newerth is better than LoL and Dota2. By Zack - October 21, 2012 1. Engine is better than the rest. 2. Fast gameplay which results in shorter games 3. Free to play 4. You don't have to buy the game nor the heroes 5. Supports Mac/Linux 6. Better graphics (spell animations, hero models). No cartoony stuff. 7. More heroes 8. Requires more skill (denies, skill combos) 9. Comebacks are completely feasibly while in Dota2/LoL they hardly ever happen.
